Reflexology and Detoxification
21 Hours with Katie Mickey
This 21-hour course offers reflex techniques for vitalizing the whole body with emphasis on activating the channels of elimination, drainage of the lymphatics and detoxification of metabolic wastes stored in the tissues of the feet, organs, glands and nervous system. Reflexology involves distal stimulation on the feet, hands or ears to release metabolic wastes that impede the nerve terminals in the feet and hands. Reflexology Detoxification illuminates the underlying factors of wastes stored in tissues of the body, the implications to health and wellness, how to modify techniques and sequence and the adjunctive measures of essential oils, Epsom salt wraps, magnesium foot bath, far infrared sauna and nutritional supplementation, to enhance the body’s detoxification.

What Students Are Saying“I cannot believe that I am able to sit now without pain for the first time in three years. I have been in a lot of pain. I have gone to a lot of doctors. I went through surgery twice and it did not work. I was told that my condition is very unusual. My surgeon, when he retired, said he has only seen this in one other client in his many years of practice, therefore, he would need to find a specialist for me. I was told my muscles are too tight and that I will have to live with pain until my muscles become flaccid in old age. On a scale of 1-10, most days I have had a level seven of pain and could not sit for more than fifteen minutes, even on the couch watching TV I would need to get up and stand. After two sessions of Reflexology in the classroom, I went from high pain to no pain. Five days later the sensation is about a 1.” -Rosa Almanza, practicing Reflexologist in student clinic
“I come from a family with poor genetics and lots of nurses and doctors. In the month since my training, I have shared Reflexology with my aunts and family members. They are very eager to practice. When I showed my aunt how to treat herself with a golf ball, she literally grabbed the ball from me and began practicing. My aunt lost sensation in her foot due to surgeries and neuropathy. Her sensation has now returned from regular practice of Reflexology.” -Donna Cometa, practicing Reflexologist in the student clinic “My roommate had a hard mass under her arm that kept her from being able to raise her arm. The doctors said it was an infection. They gave her inflammation meds. She took them for one week and got no results so she stopped. I worked the reflexes for her arm for 5 minutes each for the past five days. This morning she reported she can lift her arm and the mass is almost gone. “ -Mayra Santas, practicing Reflexologist in the student clinic |
