Muscle Testing Protocols
30 Hours
This 30-hour course is designed to be taken in combination with Shiatsu and Cross Fiber /Deep Tissue. Muscle Testing protocols offers a precise protocol for assessment of imbalances as well as quick corrective measures. This approach to assessment and treatment is also known as Touch for Health. The protocol begins with assessment of the 14 indicator muscles to assess weaknesses within the muscles, organs and meridians. Therapists then test which of six most common corrections are indicated: Spinal reflexes, Neurolymphatic scrubbing, Neurovascular points, Emotional Release Technique, meridian tracing, or muscle spindle cell technique. Practitioners then make required corrections and follow with Shiatsu protocol. This approach integrates two long standing bodywork traditions of East and West - addressing meridian organ imbalances as well as musculoskeletal weakness and pain syndromes.
