Aromatherapy covers how to create therapeutic essential oil blends specific for building the immune system and balancing emotional states. The course covers a variety of single oils and blending basics specific to the prevention and treatment of colds, flu, respiratory illnesses, digestive disorders, fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue, Epstein Barr, cancer, as well as addictions and mental emotional imbalances. The course addresses the science of essential oils, messengers and signals in the bloodstream, product making, non-chemical nutritive bases, and replacing the dangerous chemicals and drugs in one’s life.

Barefoot Deep Tissue presents a full body protocol for deeply working the major muscle groups using the therapist's feet. The technique is especially suitable for physically active people, athletes and bodies that require sufficient force to effectively release core muscular tension. The method is a lifesaver for hands, wrists and shoulders that tend to become overworked using traditional massage techniques. Barefoot is an excellent bodywork protocol for post event sessions with athletes. The work is also applicable for basically healthy people who want an overall deep tissue release. The module includes both classroom and clinic hours.

Craniosacral Therapy offers an introduction to Craniosacral Therapy based on the biodynamic model of the craniosacral system. The biodynamic approach monitors the tidal movements within the craniosacral system. The tide or cranial wave refers to the subtle, rhythmic movement that occurs in the skeletal system as cerebrospinal fluid circulates through the cranium, spinal cord and sacrum. Students learn to monitor the cranial wave and provide a fulcrum for rebalancing the rhythmic movement of cranial bones. As balance occurs the client may access deeper states of parasympathetic activation, relief from core issues, and superficial symptoms of pain and malaise. Students learn balances specific to the sacrum, occiput and sphenoid. Includes classroom, clinic and case studies.

Polarity Therapy presents an introduction based on the work of Dr. Randolph Stone. Students learn effective techniques for interfacing with the electromagnetic fields and flows of the human body. The course presents assessment and technique protocol for balancing the Five Elements and Three Principals as they manifest in the body and in human process. Students learn to assess and affect a change in the electromagnetic field through application of three modes of touch, ranging from very light, stimulating and deep penetrating contact. The course offers traditional Polarity Balances, energy exercises and dietary measures.

Pregnancy Massage covers specific Deep Tissue and Swedish techniques for releasing musculoskeletal strain during pregnancy as well as addressing the anatomical and physiological changes that occur during pregnancy. The techniques include slow muscle-sculpting strokes applied in side-lying or semi-reclining positioning. Students learn modified supine and side positioning and massage techniques specific for each trimester.

Role Playing and Boundaries explores challenges that have arisen in the practice of local therapists and attending students. Students will role-play asserting boundaries and negotiating client/therapist relationship.

Level III Tracks or Medical Qigong Program
Level III Tracks Students may choose from any of the Level II tracks and participate as an assistant or repeat student. Study will include special assignments by the instructor and outside tutorial by the instructor. For each 30 hours of study students will be required to work one on one with their instructor for a tutorial session specific to deepening the skills of the student or addressing difficult case studies in their client base.
Medical Qigong Practitioner offers advanced energy work training and Traditional Chinese Medicine. It is designed for the serious student interested in conducting a private practice in energy-based bodywork and self-healing exercises. Graduates will be granted a certificate of completion in Medical Qigong. Our program is recognized by the International Institute for Medical Qigong and is currently the only Medical Qigong training offered in conjunction with the International Institute in So. California.
Medical Qigong Essentials introduces the student to Medical Qigong self-healing exercises for establishing exceptional well-being in body, mind and spirit. Students learn Medical Qigong exercises to help correct physical and energetic imbalances, strengthen and regulate the internal organs, nervous system and immune systems as well as relieve pain, regulate hormones and release deep-seated emotions. The course introduces the basic theories of energy tonification, purgation and regulation of the organs and energy channels, as well as strengthening the body’s protective energy field (Wei Qi).
Introduction to Diagnosis and Treatments builds on material covered in the first course. Students are led through a progressive series of advanced meditations and exercises used to develop advanced intuitive diagnostic skills. Students learn the Medical Qigong treatment protocols for treating patients as well as avoiding the absorption of toxic qi while in a clinical environment. The module includes process protocols for releasing and integrating emotional states.
Clinical Foundations offers an overview of the major principles and foundational structures that govern Traditional Chinese Medical Qigong. Other topics include: three levels of ancient Daoist Mysticism, four functional properties of energy, materializing and dematerializing energy, combining Medical Qigong with other modalities and qi emitting methods. Students will have a deeper comprehension of the energetic matrix as it pertains to Traditional Chinese Medicine, disease, diagnosis, and the Medical Qigong clinic. Focus is placed on integrating clinical Qigong modalities, advanced assessment, and energetic modulation skills. Case studies and clinic included.
Treatment of Organ Diseases and Medical Qigong Prescription Exercises offers students an overview of the major principles and foundational structures that govern Traditional Chinese Medical Qigong. This course is designed to introduce the advanced theories and clinical modalities of internal organ treatment, as well as the Medical Qigong Exercises and Meditations. Students will learn protocols for addressing specific organ diseases as they pertain to Traditional Chinese Medicine, diagnosis and Medical Qigong prescriptions. Includes clinics and case studies.
